Meet Our Teachers

My name is Isaac Taylor. I am newly married to my wife Emily, and I am currently a Math teacher at a Christian high school. I have my Bachelors in Mathematics with a minor in Biblical Studies. I am working towards my Masters in Theology while studying the Biblical languages, for the purpose of teaching whether as a pastor or professor. I enjoy reading, studying, writing, teaching, and music. My desire in Mathematics is for each person to understand the role of numbers and Math as tools that we use to come to know the world around us.

 

Holly is a Florida certified teacher with extensive experience. From tutoring to teaching middle grade mathematics and even teaching robotics, she’s done it all! She attended the University of South Florida to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then went to the University of Central Florida to get her master’s degree in Applied Learning and Instruction focused on teaching. She is currently at USF working on her doctorate in Program Development- Innovative Education with a focus in Curriculum. She’s also a farmer, crafter, and entrepreneur.

My name is Beth Perdue. I am a wife, mom, teacher, professional singer, and entrepreneur. I work at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in the education department and I often sing the national anthem for rocket launches. I have two degrees in music, a certificate in children’s literature and a masters in history. I love History because it reminds us of how far we have come and helps to guide us into the future. My husband is the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Florida and I serve alongside him there. I look forward to our time together.

Sunitha Konatham is a Masters’ of Public Health candidate studying Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences concentration with a Global Health certificate at Texas A&M University. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and will attend medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine next year. Sunitha is passionate about science and medicine and is excited to share her knowledge through every video of her Human Anatomy and Physiology course!

Tom Yerger is an excellent chess player from Newburgh, New York. He is 25 years old and is the chess teacher for homeskoolery.com. He learned to play chess as a child and rediscovered his love of the game in graduate school. He has been playing for several years and is rapidly progressing down the path towards being a chess master. Tom explains the game in a way that any level of player can benefit from. Away from chess, he enjoys his studies in mathematics, pursuing a PhD in geometry, as well as playing the guitar, and physical fitness.

Hello, my name is Benjamin Taylor and I live in Missouri with my wife and two daughters. I have a deep passion for learning about God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Accordingly, I will be teaching Bible, theology, and Biblical worldview classes. I recently graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with my Masters of Theology. I truly hope that my classes will enable students to better understand God. I want them to have a firm foundation understanding why they believe what they believe and to be able to effectively defend the truth of their faith.

I was born in Texas and I have spent most of my life here apart from attending Western Illinois University for my undergraduate degree in Sociology. After graduating with honors, I returned to Texas and attended The University of Houston briefly before going to Texas Tech School of Law. After school, I worked as a prosecutor for the D.A. for over six years before starting my own firm. I have tried over 120 jury trials and I have also worked as a defense attorney. I love criminal law and helping those who want to pursue careers in the legal profession.

I am from Dallas, Texas and began dancing in High School. Recently, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, and a minor in Business. While there, I was a part of Texas Tech’s University Dance Company, and a local dance company called Flatlands Dance Theatre. During my time at Texas Tech, I took a performance training session with Risq’ Season 4, and we performed at the Dallas Hip Hop Dance Festival. Dance is a passion of mine, and I believe it is a great way to express yourself.

Howdy, my name is Sofia Loya, and I am very excited to teach you! Currently, I am a senior at Texas A&M University studying Mechanical Engineering and Project Management. Growing up I was a part of a dance team and robotics team. I have won national dance competitions in Disneyland, but I have not beat Mickey in a dance off. Hopefully soon! In the meantime, I have fun building computers and understanding how they work. I am an advocate for education and hope to make learning fun for you! 

Catalina is a junior at Texas A&M studying Human Resource Development. She graduates in 2022 and will continue her education by obtaining her masters. She has grown up in a family of educators and has experience teaching students from elementary level to high school in various subjects. Her most memorable experiences include aiding in science summer camps and tutoring high school physics. She enjoys athletic activities, and she loves teaching. Her favorite subject is science, and she hopes to inspire her students through various science adventures.

Reese is a junior at Texas A&M majoring in physics with a minor in performance studies. He is a member of the Texas A&M Singing Cadets featured as a soloist and is in the Corps of Cadets serving as 2nd Regiment’s Operations and Training Officer. After graduating, Reese plans to enter the Air Force. He grew up in McKinney, TX and comes from a musical family. Reese started taking guitar lessons at age 9 while also teaching himself. He has also taught himself to play the piano and drums. Reese is eager to share his love of guitar and music with you.

Hiya, my name is Maria! I am going to be teaching preschool for homeskoolery.com.  I am thrilled to be able to be a part of your learning journey! I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at Cedarville University. I enjoy biking, reading, spending time with my family, and the beach! I have always loved learning and find such a joy in teaching others new things. So, get your thinking caps on and buckle your seat belts because it is going to be a fun ride! Hailey is a Senior at Texas A&M University studying Biological Engineering. She graduates in the spring of 2021 and will continue at Texas A&M to get her master’s degree specializing in water conservation engineering. At Texas A&M she is an officer for the American Society of Biological & Agricultural Engineers where she participates in various events. In her spare time, Hailey enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and skiing in the winter. She loves teaching and believes that education is very important and one can always keep learning new things.

As a mother to five and an educator by trade, my passion is making learning a fun and safe place for children. I was a youth minister, kindergarten teacher, preK teacher, and a director for early childhood education learning centers for many years. Faith, love, and learning are the core factors of my days every day. If we give our children a desire to learn, they will always strive to grow and search for truth. My name is Lauren Lindemulder. I am a certified elementary school teacher with a concentration in history and I have been teaching for about 7 years. While I really enjoy learning all subjects, I especially love studying US History and sharing what I have learned through teaching. I am a military wife and a mom. We have two kids and two dogs. Being a military family, we have had the opportunity to travel and to live in many different places all over the country. We have lived in Louisiana, in Puerto Rico, in Florida, and in Rhode Island.
